Last night the State of Georgia killed an innocent man. I keep coming back to the video “The Night The Lights Went out in Georgia”

I have followed the Troy Davis case for a number of years and always expected that it would be commuted to life. Is he innocent? Short of a confession that will never be proven but I hope like the video that someone will confess. Death bed,  Letter left either works. The other question is was he guilty beyond a reasonable doubt? Google it and read about it yourself. I think there was plenty of doubt.

Now I’m Canadian and as this article on CNN show : World shocked by U.S. execution of Troy Davis the world was watching last night. I wondered what countries still have the death penalty. The list was surprisingly short and not exactly good company to be in.
